Central Stadium in Ekaterinburg, which will be called Ekaterinburg Arena for the time of the World Cup 2018, is the largest arena in the Ural capital and the home field of the Yekaterinburg football club “Ural”.

Ekaterinburg Arena was built in the forms of Soviet neoclassicism, is an object of cultural heritage. The entrances in the western and eastern parts of the stadium are decorated with the sculptures of a skier, football player, athlete with a torch, a steelworker. 

According to the reconstruction project, the historical appearance of the building was preserved. But the capacity of the arena was increased to 35,000 spectators.

Ekaterinburg Arena will host four games at FIFA World Cup Russia.

How to get to Ekaterinburg Arena

Ekaterinburg Arena is located in the central part of the city, so the most convenient way to get here and move within the city is by public transport.

By bus:

Use the buses №61 and 64. They stop really close to the stadium, within the walking distance.

If you go from Koltsovo Airport, you can pick the autobus № 1AFS (Airport – fan zone – the center of the city – the stadium) that goes directly to the stadium 

By metro: 

The nearest metro station to the Yekaterinburg Arena is “Ploshad 1905“. From here to the stadium, there are four bus stops. You can pick the buses № 2 or 19 from the exit from the metro and by them get to the field.

By taxi: 

To get to the Ekaterinburg Arena from the city center will cost you around 5$ (300 rubles) for the 10-minutes ride.
